Industry and Water Treatment Benefits

For modern industry, efficient and reliable pumps are of paramount importance. Grundfos CR pumps are proven in a wide variety of industrial applications.

  • Process water for food, petrochemical, steel and numerous other industries
  • Wash-down, car-washing and cleaning
  • Boiler feeding, heating, and cooling plants
  • Cooling and lubrication for machine tools
  • Water treatment plants, filtration, and reverse osmosis systems

Reliable even in demanding applications
Grundfos CR pumps are designed for trouble-free running even when pumping aggressive liquids (such as detergents and solvent solutions) where choice of materials is of special importance. In the CRN models, all parts coming into contact with the pumped liquid are made from high grade corrosion resistant stainless steel. The pumps incorporate several features for handling liquids containing air and particles.

High efficiency
Industrial applications typically require long operating periods. Grundfos CR pumps are ideally suited for this sort of application due to the very high efficiency ratios greater than 80%. Series C Pumps are available with Grundfos MLE fully integrated variable speed motors through 10 HP. Variable speed significantly reduces energy consumption in dynamic applications.

Easy to install
The compact, vertical in-line construction of CR pumps requires only minimal space and makes them easy to fit into existing plants. The design facilitates simplified pipe configuration and minimizes the risk of harmful strains from the pipe system.

Easy servicing
The easy servicing of the CR pumps is also of great importance since in industry - perhaps more than anywhere else - time is money. Grundfos offers packaged service kits for the various CR models, including the STACKŪ, a complete impeller and chamber assembly, which can be replaced on site in a few minutes. No special tools are required for servicing.

Large variety of connections
CR pumps come with a choice of different connections. ANSI flange and PJE couplings are standard. Optional connections include DIN and JIS flanges as well as union and clamp couplings.
