Ideal Horizons' residential UV equipment is manufactured in our Vermont facility using the same quality standards that we use to build our commercial and industrial equipment. Ideal UV equipment is powered by electronic ballasts that have established a new height in UV output stability over a wide range of voltage fluctuations. An Ideal disinfection contact vessel is second to none! Our vessels are fabricated only from certified American 304 stainless steel, using a plasma arc fusion welding process that creates top quality, strong, food grade welds. Among the many other features, the SE30K, ME30K and ME38K series models are available with quartz sleeve wipers for use where frequent cleaning of film or other deposits is needed. Our UV lamps have a 9000 hour (one year) life expectancy we rate our units for UV dosage at EOL or end of lamp life. Our lamps are encased in quartz sleeves with fire polished ends that optimize UV exposure. Some other available features and options include UV metering, audible lamp out alarms and activation for remote alarms and solenoid valves.
